The Irchelpark is a local biodiversity hotspot, even though it is located in the middle of a transport hub and a university campus. A book has now been dedicated to this fascinating biodiversity.
On International Day of Biodiversity, Thursday 22 May 2025, at 6 pm, the editors will present the publication of the Naturforschende Gesellschaft Zürich at Science Pavilion UZH. In a subsequent guided tour, they will show a few gems in Irchelpark. Come and discover the biodiversity on your doorstep! This event is being organised as part of Abenteuer StadtNatur and the Festival der Natur and will be held in German.
