The uniqueness of our own species continues to be a topic of ongoing interest. Researchers at the University of Zurich have been studying human evolution for over 125 years. The focus of research has changed over the years, but the endeavour to understand the uniqueness of our own species and to protect other species has never changed.
In this course we will explore current anthropological research at the University of Zurich and show ways in which these examples can be integrated into the classroom. We will also familiarise ourselves with the exhibition ‘What makes us human’.
Register here for the training course for teachers. It is aimed at biology teachers and other interested parties.
